A sow with 3 cubs came to my mom's yard in Woodstock (base of Mt. Tom) during the night Saturday and tipped over the seed barrel. We took everything in, however there was a pile of birdseed on the ground which she was determined to finish up. She and the cubs spent most of Sunday in the yard. Great opportunity to observe bear behavior and get great pics, not to mention really cute cubs. She has been back, once that we know of, to check on food availability with no luck.

If you'd like to see some pictures, contact me.
