Yesterday in the late afternoon, there were 3 Mute Swans at Runnemede.
They weren't there when I arrived at 3PM or so, but I found them on my
way out about 4:30. I needed a closer look, so I high-tailed it over to
the other side of the pond where I managed to get a few poor quality
pictures. It was getting pretty dark by the time I got over there, so it
was the best I could do. They are on ebird if you are interested in
seeing them. http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S32965457
The Swans were gone this morning as the big pond is completely frozen
over.

Peggy
