This afternoon a Carolina Wren visited a sunflower seed feeder and
poked around in vegetation in the backyard area here in Norwich
village. This was the first one of that species detected here in a
number of weeks.

I've received a convincing report of a Common Redpoll with its "little
red hat" seen today at a bird feeder along New Boston Road in Norwich.
