Weather: partly cloudy, wind from N at 8-9 (Leb. airport), ~45° F

At the Wilder Dam boat launch, the female red-breasted merganser is

At least one red-tail was migrating. The goshawk was distant, and after
putting up the pigeons it appeared to be moving on. Carolina wren seen
for about 1/2 second, located by alarm calls.
Tree sparrows not as visible as in past days, although hedgerow not
checked on this visit.
