Today (May 1), with light rain at times, Ed Hack and I looked for

Six Green-winged Teal in north Springfield.
One Red-necked Grebe at Lake Runnemede in Windsor and another at
Hoyt's Landing in Springfield.
A Pied-billed Grebe by the old Weathersfield Elementary School.
A Green Heron along Juniper Hill Road in Windsor.
One Spotted Sandpiper at Kennedy (Mill) Pond in Windsor and another in
north Springfield.
A Solitary Sandpiper at Hoyt's Landing in Springfield.
An adult Bald Eagle, 2 Greater Yellowlegs, and an adult Great Horned
Owl with at least one nestling in north Springfield.
Five Wilson's Snipe flying around together at the corner of Hunt and
Marton Roads in Windsor.
A singing Northern Waterthrush at Hoyt's Landing in Springfield.
