This is New Hampshire Audubon's Rare Bird Alert for Monday, June 8th, 2015. 

A PACIFIC LOON was seen off of the coast of North Hampton on June 3rd.

2 AMERICAN OYSTERCATCHERS were seen in Hampton Harbor on June 5th.

2 ATLANTIC PUFFINS, 3 BLACK GUILLEMOTS, and a CORY'S SHEARWATER were seen
at the Isles of Shoals during the past week.

A HUDSONIAN GODWIT, a LEAST TERN, and 4 GLOSSY IBIS were reported from
Eastman Slough in Seabrook on June 7th.

A SANDHILL CRANE was reported from Lee on June 3rd.

2 MISSISSIPPI KITES were seen flying near Gonet Road in Newmarket on May
31st.

An ACADIAN FLYCATCHER was heard singing along Brindle Pond Road in
Barnstead about a tenth of a mile from Peacham Road where you can see the
pond, and easily hear the bird from the road. The bird was reported on June
4th, 5th, and 7th.

A GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER was seen and heard along the power line
right-of-way located off of Freshet Road in Dover on June 3rd.

A GRASSHOPPER SPARROW was seen at the Cemetery Fields in Amherst on May
31st and 1 was reported from the Pease International Tradeport on June 6th.

2 UPLAND SANDPIPERS were seen at the Pease International Tradeport on May
31st.

A PIPING PLOVER was seen at Hampton Beach State Park on June 6th.

2 UPLAND SANDPIPERS were seen at the Pease International Tradeport in
Newington on May 31st.

There was an unconfirmed report of a GOLDEN EAGLE in Dover on June 7th.

10 PURPLE MARTINS were seen near Cross Beach Road in Rye on June 6th.

A YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO was reported from Newmarket on May 31st and 1 was
reported from Rochester on June 3rd.

2 EVENING GROSBEAKS were seen at a feeder in Walpole on June 5th.

A PHILADELPHIA VIREO was reported from Pittsburg on June 7th.

BICKNELL'S THRUSHES were reported from near the summits of Cannon Mountain,
Mount Moosilauke, and Mount Isolation during the past week.
