There was an immature Northern Shrike this morning perched at the very top of a tree at the edge of a field on the south side of Lower Wolfeboro Road off the Hanover Center green. No obvious mask and none of the clean, pale gray coloration of adults, more brownish. Flew off to the northeast across the field and out of sight.
