UV-Birders:

I've been enjoying all the excitement about spring arrivals!  Isn't it a great time of year?

I'd like to remind posters to please include the location at which the bird was sighted in all postings to the list.  This is valuable information to the readers of the list.

As a minimum, this should include the town and state (since the Upper Valley includes both NH and VT, which include many shared town names, such as Springfield, NH and Springfield, VT).

In most cases a brief description of the habitat (yard, field, pond, forest, etc) is helpful (and if in the mountains, the approximate altitude or habitat zone).

If your posting covers several different locations, separate the list by location, and label each location clearly.

If your sighting is unusual, more precise descriptions of how to find the location are helpful, in case others would like to visit the site.
