This is a reminder that the Mascoma Chapter of New Hampshire Audubon
is, during the coming week, holding two field trips to view display
flights of the American Woodcock. These field trips are free and open
to the public. Dress warmly and bring binoculars and a flashlight if
available.

Wednesday April 11, 2012, from 7:15 to 9:00 PM: Woodcock walk led by
George Clark. Meet at 7:15 PM by the Kendal main canopied entrance to
carpool. Road instructions are provided below. In case of steady
precipitation on the evening of April 11, please join the walk on
April 12.

Thursday April 12, 2012, from 7:15 to 9:00 PM: Woodcock walk led by
Joanne Norton and Art Mudge and cosponsored by the Kendal Bird Club.
Meet at the main canopied entrance at Kendal at 7:15 PM to carpool.

Road instructions to the starting point for carpooling from Kendal:
From downtown Hanover, NH, follow NH Route 10 north passing the
Hanover golf course. Continue on Route 10 through two traffic circles.
Just after the 2nd traffic circle, pull into the left turn lane and
then turn left into the Kendal at Hanover campus. Then, after only a
short distance, turn left at the crossroad. Continue through and
alongside the Kendal campus going downhill until you see an open area
to the right. Then turn right and look for the parking lot which is to
the left. The starting point for gathering for carpooling is to be at
the main canopied entrance.
