We spent a little over an hour walking along part of Hogback Road this morning. The highlight was seeing two Hermit Thrushes very clearly, hopping around in the bushes, and on the road. The wind began to come up part way through our trip, and was quite strong by the time we got back to the car. The Cooper's Hawk may also have been a factor in keeping down the numbers of birds.
