Greetings Upper Valley Birders,

This coming Saturday at 10:00, at the behest of the Enfield Conservation
Commission, I will be giving a talk at the Enfield Community Center on Route
4.

The topic of the talk is "The State of the Birds: What NH Communities can do
to Help Bird Populations." It is based on the 2011 "State of the Birds: A
Consevation Guide" put out by NH Audubon.

Prior to the talk, I will be offering an optional ~2 hour field trip to a
couple of local spots. The trip will meet in the parking lot across from the
Community Lutheran Church on Main Street in Enfield. We'll start by walking
around the famous (at least back when I lived there) "Main Street Pond" area
and along the rail trail, and see what else time and crowd size allow.

So mark your calendars and maybe see some old and new faces in the crowd!
