During this morning's NH Audubon bird walk under variably foggy
conditions in the floodplain area near the Simon Pearce facilities in
Windsor, VT, eleven observers found more than two dozen species. Among
the highlights were a Red-bellied Woodpecker, several Northern
Flickers, a flock of American Pipits, dozens of Yellow-rumped
Warblers, a few Palm Warblers, a few Common Yellowthroats, and six
species of sparrows including an immature White-crowned Sparrow.
Special thanks to Ed Hack for coleading and compiling records.
