20 ardent birders showed up on this 52 degree cloudy showery, then clearing but windy morning to tally 40 species. In order of appearance, from the parking lot/picnic area on the NH side of Wilder Dam up to the Boston Lot Lake and back:

common grackle
rock dove
mallard
blue jay
song sparrow
mourning dove
ovenbird
American robin
American crow
scarlet tanager
Baltimore oriole
pine warbler
common yellowthroat
American goldfinch
chestut sided warbler
rose breasted grosbeak
indigo bunting
northern parula
gray catbird
black capped chickadee
black throated blue warbler
red eyed vireo
yellow bellied sapsucker
ruffed grouse
yellow rumped warbler
black throated green warbler
wood thrush
least flycatcher
double crested cormorant
horned grebe
hooded merganser
northern flicker
solitary sandpiper
downy woodpecker
eastern phoebe
tree swallow 
chipping sparrow
turkey vulture
tufted titmouse
