There was a Northern shoveler at the end of the Mink Brook Trail in the Conn. River along with Ring-necks, mergansers, geese etc.

Northern Shoveler  1     Distinctive side view with white breast, then in the middle, an orange rusty color, then more white in front of the dark tail.  Dark head.  It was a little too far away to see the bill clearly, but the side view was clear.
