Some highlights among birds found by Ed Hack and me in southern
Windsor County today included

Great Egrets -- 2 at North Springfield Reservoir
Great Blue Herons -- at least 3 at North Springfield Reservoir
Osprey -- 1 at Lake Runnemede in Windsor
Bald Eagle -- 1 at Lake Runnemede and 2 at North Springfield Reservoir
Philadelphia Vireo -- 1 at Lake Runnemede
Brown Thrasher -- 1 at Lake Runnemede

Yellow-shafted Flickers, Gray Catbirds, and Song Sparrows were notably
numerous at Lake Runnemede today.
