Heading out at 9:40 tonight for kid pickup, I made a routine pause to
listen for owls. What a fun surprise to hear both a Barred and a Great
Horned. First great horned I've heard at this location. And just to be
certain, I put the kids on hold and listened to the recording. Perfect
match. Back out to enjoy hearing the difference in their tones.
Both owls silent upon returning home, but Spencer's window by his bed is
wide open.
