A female Black Scoter found by Ed Hack on Silver Lake yesterday (10/14) was on a nearby pond this morning and evening. To see the pond, travel north on the North Road from Rt 12 at Silver Lake. It was in the first pond on the right with some Ring-necked Ducks. If not there, try scoping Silver Lake, which has also had cormorants and a loon recently.
