A pair of Wood Ducks were on the CT river in Lyme this afternoon. They were rounding the north end of the island 1000 yards or so north from the Hanover/Lyme town line. Dozens of Canada Geese and Mallards  as well as a lone Hooded Merganser were in the same area.
