On Saturday April 21, 2018, from 6:30 to 9:00 AM, a birding trip along the Connecticut River in Hanover and Lyme is to be led by Blake Allison, George Clark, Gail McPeek, and Kaytee Currie-Huggard, under the cosponsorship of the Mascoma Chapter of New Hampshire Audubon, the Hanover Conservancy, and the Upper Valley Land Trust. This event is free and open to the public. We'll be looking for waterbirds and other early spring migrants along the river in Hanover and Lyme. Bring binoculars and, if available, spotting scopes. 

Participants should be prepared to walk as much as a mile over fairly level terrain.  This trip will be canceled in the event of  steady, heavy rain or hazardous driving conditions.

Meet at 6:30 AM in the Sheridan parking lot (formerly Dartmouth Printing Company) on NH Route 10 next to Richmond Middle School in Hanover, NH. We'll carpool from there. Thanks to Sheridan for again authorizing use of their parking lot for this event.
