Water was still down on the Conn. R. this morning, and a few shorebirds
obliged on exposed flats. At Pompy were 2 each of Greater and Lesser
Yellowlegs, 4 Solitaries, 2 Spotteds, and 4 Killdeer. A Yellow Warbler
and N. Waterthrush were along Old Bridge Road.

At Ledyard, the flats inside Montshire Cove had a Solitary and 2 Least
sandpipers. A small mixed flock in trees along the RR tracks south of
the cove featured a male Cape May, a Canada, 4 Yellow-rumped, and a
Chestnut-sided Warbler, plus several Red-eyed and 1 Warbling Vireo.
