The hawk watch on Balch Hill in Hanover on Saturday offered very fortunate weather conditions for migration.

2 Turkey Vultures
12 Sharp Shinned
1 Coopers
2 red tails
2 Am Kestrels
2 Bald Eagles (non migrants, headed north) unfortunately after everyone left, but one.

The birds were really moving on strong northwest winds.
