The bird flushed at 9:50 am when a home oil truck rumbled by and headed to the river. Anyone heading to Campbell Flat to see it should be patient if it's not in the flooded meadow, and/or try to get a vantage point along the river.

The bird was feasting on inverts in the flooded field, so I suspect chances of its returning are high. Also present were a Great Blue and Green heron and American Bittern, plus 2 Least Sandpipers.
