in a series of free bird walks open to the public and arranged for this fall by the Mascoma Chapter of New Hampshire Audubon, Jeff MacQueen is to lead a bird walk in Orford, NH, from 7 to 9:30 AM on Saturday September 15, 2018. For those who wish to carpool and are coming from Hanover, Norwich, and locations to the south, a group is to be leaving the Ledyard Bridge parking lot at 6:30 AM that day. 

Road instructions for carpoolers: To reach the Ledyard Bridge parking lot from Hanover, drive across Ledyard Bridge and take an immediate right turn onto River Road in Norwich. Then take an immediate left turn into the unpaved parking lot from which the carpoolers are to be leaving at 6:30 AM. (Please note that this parking lot is available for public parking on weekends and after 5 PM on weekdays but not at other weekday hours.)
