I noted a young female Yellow-bellied Sapsucker in my yard this past
weekend, both Sat and Sun.  She was feeding on frozen cherries and suet.  I
wondered if she'd survive the bitter cold temps - what a relief to see her
again this a.m. (I wish she'd head further south.....)
