Hello, I am not sure what has visited my yard twicw in the last week. I beleive
it is eather a young bald eagle of a golden eagle. The bird is enormous and
dark. I wish I had my camera with me when it soared over my yard. I only saw
it for a few short minutes. I do know that an adult bald eagle has been visiting
the Sunapee Waste Water Treatment Center now and then over the past few
years and I am onyl a 5 minute drive from there so I guess it isn't impossible
for this bird to be one of it's offspring. I hope it comes back so I can get a
better look. I am wondering if we even have golden eagles in this part of the
country. Have a nice day. Anne
