A brief stop at two adjacent ponds along Tigertown Road provided a nice
display of hooded merganser crest variations. It was interesting to see how
rapidly they would change. As I was leaving, a solitary sandpiper appeared
and I got a few photo out my car window.  Some of the photos I took are at
