This morning's Quest outing was well-attended with >20 people, and
well-rewarded with some nice birds at Lake Runnemede. No major wave of
migrants, but some great looks and listens. Highlights included:

Osprey - 3
Merlin - 1
Eastern Kingbird - 3
American Redstart - 2
Palm Warbler (western) - 2
White-crowned Sparrow - 2
Bobolink - 2 males seen at close range, singing
Baltimore Oriole - 1

A few of us went up to Pompy Flats afterwards, where we had 2 Greater
Yellowlegs, 2 Lesser Yellowlegs, a Solitary Sandpiper, and 4 Cliff
Swallows visiting the two 2010 nests under the I-91 bridge.

At my house at 6 am were a singing N. Parula and Blackburnian Warbler.

Chris
