This morning, I took a walk along the rail-trail in Canaan. Behind the former Enfield Granite facility, I had a good look at a Clay-colored Sparrow. Overall the birds weren't very numerous, but I also
found Song, Swamp and White-throated Sparrows, Yellow-rumps, a Common Yellowthroat and a couple Ruby-crowned Kinglets. The Clay-colored was the second one I've had here, the previous
one being a little over a year ago.
