If anyone finds an injured or grounded bird (from the aftermath of Irene), please feel free to call me at
VINS (VT Institute of Natural Science) located in Quechee, VT.

I am one of the licensed rehabbers in the Wildlife Services Dept, and we have been getting several calls and
admissions due to the storm.

And speaking of rare birds that have been "blown" in from the storm: we just recently admitted an adult
Northern Gannet that was found in an open field in Hartland. We are also expecting a Storm Petrel, which
is to be positively identified once it arrives.

Thanks, and I hope everyone made it through the storm safely!!

Sara - Hartland, VT
