In the marshy area across from Webb plumbing supply store (intersection of 120 and Etna Rd. in Lebanon) / Ledyard Bank:

Seen 7:15 PM May 25 posed in the middle of the lighter colored reedy area,  seen again (yes, it had moved!) as we passed an hour later.

My kids saw one fly across the road here last year and enter the marshy area behind the bank.  Not a great place to stop and listen, but I wonder if anyone else has seen or heard bitterns here?
