A familiar, yet uncommon chip note got my attention this afternoon. A
new yard bird, 4 American Pipits, they circled and landed, then
disappeared in the field. One bird was seen well again at 4:30pm. A
ten minute ebird count added a few other nice birds, including a pair
of Evening Grosebeaks. A couple Pine Siskins were around later in the
day.
