A hungry male Rose-breasted Grosbeak just visited our feeders, joining
the 6 Evenings (3 ea. sex) who have been here on and off all day.

We credit male rose-breasteds for kindling Spencer's interest in birds.
Whenever he spotted a "daddy seed cruncher" from his high chair (age 3
or so?), he'd bounce up and down and point to it. So seeing one these
days always bring me a smile!
