This morning I saw four on the rocky open ledges of Mt. Cardigan between Rim Rock and the South Summit. I've seen snow buntings in this same 100 to 200 yd stretch of habitat a number of times on my occasional late fall hikes on Cardigan over the last 20 yrs or so. It's gratifying to see the regularity of the pattern over an extended period of time. -----Don
