4 woodpeckers, 3 Vireos, 2 Thrushes and a great day of fall birding.

A Bicknell's Thrush highlighted several hours of birding this morning
near our house. After years of frustratingly brief glimpses of
interesting thrushes, this bird flushed-- and then just sat there!
I spent several minutes with in 10 feet of it, and had unobstructed
views of the back and face. Also my first Hermit Thrush in weeks
popped up briefly in the same area, showing the distinctions
in tail color, among other things.

The diversity and numbers of other migrants would have made for an
exciting day by themselves. Highlights of two separate checklist
