--- end of quote ---

Sunday morning hike from W. Hartford back to Elm St. in Norwich along the AT.
The snow is suddenly all gone (except a few patches) even deep in the woods.
Heard several Brown Creepers and Yellow-rumps.

Heard very vocal Winter Wrens at 2 different locations along the trail, and a
distant, but quite distinct, call from a Hermit Thrush.
