That's VT.
Went to the "Depo" aka the Oxbow Vet Clinic, north end of the village, this
am.
Has always been one of my favorite birding spots. Not on th e Birding Trail
map due to RR tracks.
Fun spot to look down on waterfowl and other tree top birds, due to the
elevation of the tracks above the surrounding landscape.
1 Pied-billed Grebe
12 Ring-neck Ducks 8M/4
6 Wood Duck 6..4M
8 G-w Teal 5M
10 Hooded Mergs 6M
16 Mallards
1 Am Kestrel
1 Phoebe
Small pile Song Sparrows (thought I heard a Swamp several times, aways
away, could not find) Good location for them.
Assortment of regulars.
No Peregrines at the Palisades. No open water on L Morey.
No Meadowlarks in East Thetford.
