Highlights of a morning ramble around the Woodstock floodplain fields 
behind the sewage plant, with Kyle Jones, Spencer and Dog Hardy, and 
Kent McFarland.  A great raptor show, with several interactions between 
species, and surprising numbers of sparrows for late August.   Despite 
last night's cool northwest air flow, there appeared to be no influx of 
true migrants.  We had 41 species total, which included only 2 warblers.

Indigo Bunting  12     most birds observed in first basic/female plumage; some only heard
Bobolink  24     all in basic plumage
