A beautiful morning it was, clear and 42 degrees when the 21 bird enthusiasts started walking toward Boston Lot lake at 7AM.

The cast  of 40, in order of appearance:
American crow
rock dove
mallard
common grackle
double crested cormorant
song sparrow
yellow rump warbler
northern parula
eastern phoebe
red breasted nuthatch
ruby crowned kinglet
hairy woodpecker
American redstart
chestnut sided warbler
common yellowthroat
black capped chickadee
pine warbler
American goldfinch
gray catbird
blue jay
mourning dove
ovenbird
yellow bellied sapsucker
black throated green warbler
northern flicker
broad winged hawk
Baltimore oriole
downy woodpecker
black throated blue warbler
dark eyed junco
least flycatcher
veery
spotted sandpiper
black and white warbler
American robin
white crowned sparrow
wood duck
white breasted nuthatch
warbling vireo
turkey vulture
