Last night when I left work at 5 pm I was greeted by the sounds and sight of
several hundred crows (perhaps more, it was difficult to count) outside of
Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. I have already noticed that there are a
large quantity of crows flying around over the woods right by the medical
center again today and this evening. There were so many in the sky overhead
last night that it looked like a scene from Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds!

I left DHMC at 3:45 and went to W.Leb. There was a steady stream of crows going to the 120/DHMC area. When I got to the landfill, that seemed to be the origen of this 2+ mile long stream of crows...They have been roosting along the the 120 corridor for about 5 weeks or so, varying their actual roosts along the ridge. I work in the Novelle/Tally bldg and it has been cool to see them amass late everyday when they roost behind this bldg. Otherwise I see them as I drive out od Centerra.
