Injured Canadian Goose Update from Windsor, VT
It appears that there is still a pair of geese on the west side of Lake Runnemede, one of whom has a damaged wing. It can swim okay.I heard that over a week ago Barbara Rhoad found a dead goose with a broken wing on the shore and tossed it back in the marsh. Also heard that some years back, there was an injured goose who lived alone in the section that stays open, where there are springs, for two winters. Some local people were bringing it food.
