The annual Hanover Conservation Council Hawk watch on Balch Hill in Hanover was Saturday. It was not ideal conditions at 11am with SSW winds and temps in the high 80s. However everytime the wind turned ever so slightly to due west, we had a hawk come by. Until the big black clouds approached. Pretty amazing how that all works.
