REPLY: We also have noted in our downtown Hanover backyard an abundance of
Juncos this spring, more in the scores than the hundreds, but nontheless
unusual. One of them is salted with white feathers around the head and
shoulders. I suppose it is a sort of albinism, but I had not realized
albinism could have such a light touch.
