I had a flyover Merlin above the Green in Hanover on March 1. I figured it might have been one of the returning pair that nests in the area, but I haven't had any more sightings since. I'll keep my eyes peeled for them. In the last couple years, this pair of merlins has spent a lot of time in the conifers along Old Tuck Drive, by the Tuck School and the President's House, and I wonder if they have been nesting there. They seem to range all over campus and the golf course, though, particularly in spring.
