We had a barred owl at our house for 4-5 days hunting during the day. He would sit on our deck, bird feeders, or blue bird houses looking for moles/voles. He had one bad eye so we assumed day hunting was necessary but it may have just been severe hunger as we found him dead the other day. So sad.
