Well, maybe not the house, but the dooryard is rockin. 30+ Robins today in the robin-colored leaf litter at the edge of the woods, looks like the surface is moving. At least 30 goldfinches, but…on the birch seeds? No. On the thistle seed feeder? No. On the gravel driveway - yes. One female Cardinal, scavenging under the feeder, no Cardinals around here for years. White-throated sparrows tossing up the leaves with the Robin army. Juncoes also. Blue Jays, about a dozen, also following the Robins, eating and eating something (bug? grub?). Happy days. Sharpen your snow shovels.
