Catherine Greenleaf of St. Francis Wild Bird Hospital in Lyme called to say a black scoter that was brought in injured has healed enough to return to the wild. She said best case scenario is to release it into a large flock of black scoters. She would appreciate anybody siting a good-sized flock contacting her so a release can be made.

Thank you,

Blake Allison
