Yesterday evening about 8:30p there was a Barred Owl perched on the pole
feeder that I have just a few feet from my kitchen window. He was facing
the kitchen window on which there is a small plastic feeder. I assume he
was hunting mice coming to the small feeder. He let me shine my flashlight
on him, and like yours, Dave, he was very calm. Maybe it is the same one.
