I had great looks at a Caspian Tern at Hoyt's Landing in Springfield 
early this afternoon.  The bird was wheeling around the large back cove 
just upstream of the boat access, and it twice dove, rocketing like a N. 
Gannet, hitting the water with a surprisingly large splash.  Nice surprise!
