This is a reminder that on Thursday April 26, 2012, at 7:00 PM in the
Mayer Room of the Howe Library in Hanover, NH, ornithologist Peter
Stettenheim will present an illustrated talk on "Life on the Bering
Sea Islands". Dr. Stettenheim has traveled to remote and infrequently
visited subarctic and arctic islands of the Bering Sea, where he has
photographed birds nesting in vast numbers on sea cliffs, as well as
seals, reindeer, and muskoxen. This program is free and open to the
public. Sponsoring organizations are the Mascoma Chapter of New
Hampshire Audubon and the Howe Library of Hanover.
