A clang-clang-clanging made me turn my head this morning as a Downy
Woodpecker used a satellite TV dish to announce his territory. This was
answered by a nearby challenger using a tree in the more conventional
manner.

Also, an Easter Bluebird visited a neighbor's tree this afternoon.
